It really is a very special record. Before I heard it, I assumed it wouldn't be great because of how other bands have changed their sound in later years. This is THE EXCEPTION. I was lucky enough to hear it all for the first time on their tour immediately after hitting the merch booth and getting a signed vinyl of it.

Great interview, Slade is a monster with the sticks, his performance at Donnington ‘91 was the highlight of that show. AC/DC was lucky to have him behind the kit and should have kept him on.

Most of their contemporaries have fizzled out. Jane’s Addiction, Metallica, etc, but The Cult still makes good records.

Thomas is not only the last founder of the band, he is also the CEO of the successful record label Napalm. VoA is also signed there. As an experienced label manager, Thomas knows what can be successful and how. That's why it makes sense that he has the last word. And thanks for the subtitles.

So true what Mark says. Trying to live out your passion but coming home from a three month tour and seeing you are 12k in debt would suck the life out of you. We are all so blessed to have this band exist and have them all be happy to be in the band.
