Christmas 2023 and we all get to have the fun of being like the Cratchit's... at least financially, I suspect there will be a bit less Agape.

Ho, ho you just gave me an answer. Jacob used the melody of the two first bars for the beginning of the verses of "Time to rest your weary head". In his song, he distributed it in 4 bars. It's o.k with me, ideas are shareable. Thank you for this video.

There's a fundamental limit to the ways you can linearly arrange 12 notes in a short form. Referencing what others have done before is the very foundation of music. Modern western copyright being applied to it is just a whole lot of bullshit. Bizet's Habenera was lifted from a tone he thought was a folk melody. It wasn't. No one cares because it sounds good and is enjoyable. That's all that matters. Music belongs to no man

I wonder if it was because of his appearance in this movie that they earned some extra money to buy his first Logic software (and hardware to run it) at 11 years old?

Dad! That was a lovely song! But, it'd probably be better if you tuned that last D sharp diminished chord 43 cents down, I think it would really add to the harmonics!

Happy Christmas... Jacob... and I can’t do it without you, my boy... I don’t need a fortune hidden in a shoe: many men have fortunes but they don’t have you... When I look at you I am richer than a king, yes, you mean more to me than anything...!
