what is the best heating gun? what watts and volts are the best and do we need to spray before heating/

There are too many different brands and types to pick a best one. You need around 350°C for the foam to stick. Most devices have 2 or 3 levels, others can program the temperature and/or air flow. Some devices (mainly the very cheap ones) are too hot, even on the lowest level.The 1600W devices are good, 2000W too but there's a greater risk of being too hot. They will all reach or even surpass 350°C, as long as you don't use a hairdryer. Don't know what you mean with spray before heating, so the answer is No.

No glue was used to make this hat a heat gun is enough to 'glue' this foam. The foam is our own Creafoam, not EVA. Available on our site www.creafoam.net

chances are it's EVA foam, it's very popular for cosplay. these days you can order it online or if you live in the U.S.A. Michael's craft stores usually have a little section that has it, usually near the adhesives but take a look around.

Dag Lianne, helaas zal een föhn hier niet veel kunnen oplossen. Waarschijnlijk zullen de krassen nog meer zichtbaar worden als je erover heen blaast. Eerst eens testen zou ik zeggen.

heb het eens opgezocht over wat het juist gaat. Ik vrees dat dit een ander soort foam is die niet met föhn bewerkbaar is. Eens proberen.
