I left the East Bay in 2008 for Boulder CO. I am glad to see that Cali cyclists are finally getting some respect. I may be wrong but it looks like changes have been implemented that make your cycling safer. I enjoy these videos as I can recognize landmarks and topography. Thanks and keep posting!

Cycling is good for health, the place was terrible but beautiful, I go to sleep every day watching the bike, a cyclist can conquer the terrible beautiful place, which you have shown, I like it, do it every day but safety first cycling must.
