This is the band that got me into hardcore. Somehow their 7inch made it all the way to New Zealand, which I managed to get dub of a dub on cassette back in 94. The song Undertow is unbeatable!!

I wonder if the vocals are turned down on purpose? I haven't heard Rob sing recently but I can't imagine his style is easy at his age

There was nothing more obnoxious and more sad than the wanna be groupie chicks that used to act like they were part of some inner circle with these bands because they let them crash at their apartment or sum shit. Maybe one time got plowed because someone was hammered. Felt sorry for them then....feel sorry for them now.

I love how Ritchie went from being the unproven "new kid" to playing this specific solo arguably even better than KK did originally! And I DON'T say that lightly!

@@sherwoodgladiator2694 I don't know what you're even trying to express with that combination of words, so... "thank you, fuck you, bye" as Jim Cornette would say.

I've been a priest fan since the early 80's. This isn't priest anymore. This is Halford. And don't get me wrong, I love Rob Half ford's vocals. He's always been my favorite vocalist.

You know this guy is in his 70s right? I hear people talk about how he walks around the stage like an old man. Three things, he is old, especially for a metal singer, he still can hit the high notes (maybe not as much as 30 years ago, but still can) and he never was a very active singer that was running and bouncing all over the place anyway. Keep rocking Rob!

He is a legend! I saw Priest 3 times and at least twice Halford rode a Harley on stage that sounded like it had a microphone in the exhaust pipe and he did donuts on stage and then laid it down and whipped it with the microphone wire! And not to sound mean but to be a gay rock star in the 80’s and 90’s and avoid catching AIDS or any STD’s that could affect his mind at this age is legendary in its own right!

Why can heavy & trash metal bands maintain their voices even though the vocalists are very old, unlike glam rock bands, Most of their vocalists can't maintain their voice quality in old age.
