Neat to see. We live here at the beach and have never been to Pax. We do braaaap a private old guy track that's up that way. I only learned to MX at 49 as it was never a discipline I was exposed to growing up. Fun to see ya fly, thanks for sharing!

Bro you are doing good. Some people don’t even sit in corners, they just set up, lean, and throttle. It all depends on terrain and track set up as u already know. A good pro tip I learned was to charge into corner, rear brake only enough to still coast the turn to KEEP momentum, sit right before the turn and very slightly ride the front brake. But this is not to slow you down but to keep weight on the front forks to keep the front wheel inside/into the rut. This comes with experience and speed that I learned from pros. Depending on the track, a sandy track will slow you down enough when sometimes you won’t need rear brake and can coast the turn then full gas out of the turn. #keep up the seat time buddy, wish it could be me👌👍🏁
@_thisisdane16 күн бұрын
Thanks man for the tip! I’ve heard about the front brake into turns and I will start working on it🤘🏼

This is our home track. My son ran 85s there last season. Moving up to 125s this year. EB is more for kids tbh but it is only 15 minutes from us. Can’t beat that. Great video!
@shannonscott578817 күн бұрын
Looks pretty smooth to me. Everyone has different style but I was taught to charge the corner, brake rear before the corner, and no brake or clutch in the corner, gas coming out, using clutch coming out only if needed. Also a good pro tip in the corner is slightly ride front brake very slightly/smoothly to keep front end loaded/stable but that comes with speed and experience. Never brake in the corner of soft/deep sand bc sand works as a brake itself bc it slows the bike down. This is only a momentum lap timed speed technique but if u like to goon ride like myself sometimes then we all brake hard pauses in 180’ and full gas on tracks (loose traction and time etc) 🤣🤣🤣🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏿👌👍

How was the scoop on the had pack I’m thinking about getting one but don’t want it to be sketchy
@shannonscott578821 күн бұрын
Scoop feels ok to me. Slightly taller than my last tire. Great traction in sand at my local track but little sketchy on hard pack to me. Good tire to have in arsenal on a spare wheel to swap out when needed. Took it off road just to test in the trail and it works BUT be careful bc it hooks/bites on roots and really launches you.
@_thisisdane21 күн бұрын
I’d same the same^ it wasn’t terrible but a regular tire would be preferred. Definitely and second wheel with a scoop tire is best!
