Bradenburg has weaker armor than Bismark or Tirpiz At least if you take how quick it looses HP in Operations by comparison.

I got him (yes, German warships are masculine....for reasons) through the premium ship exchange. Definitely the favorite ship in my line-up. My only real complaint with him is that the torpedo tubes get shredded all of the time. If those could always repaired like main battery turrets, I'd be thrilled. :)

I have more XP on the Brandenburg than any other ship. It's my go to for OPs ever since it was released. Now with T9-TX OPs, Mecklenburg is catching up.

To be Honest, I would like it better if the Valparaiso was equipped with the British 127/56 guns for its secondaries, we need some variety in 5 inch guns instead of WG always using the 127/38 for modernizing other nation ships.

I dont get why people say its like the bismark and/or turpiz. Its more aligned with sharnshorst. The guns are ment for crusers but can still do decnt damage to battleships. . You have the bigger guns and secondrys (GK, Preussen, bismark, turpiz), for battlship focus, you have the smaller guns and secondrys for cruser focused Just like the scharnhorst, mecklenberg and Brandenburg. But otherwisw totally agree with what you said the Brandenburg is a great ship when used properly.

I love mine, it's quite touch, lots of options and can be quite nasty when it gets close up.

brandenburg was my first tier 8 premium and i got it from a chest. ive loved it since day 1 and its what convinced me to go down the german battlecruiser line. always ran an ifhe build with it and it shreds ships its tier with the secondaries

Use her AP like SAP, slap superstructures with it and it absolutely chunks most nose in BBs and cruisers.

Have both of them and I do like running them...if not up tiered to 10 good ships

Similar to the Odin too. Bare knuckle secondary brawler with torps too. Tanky armor and fast. Fun ship.

Brandenburg, Odin and Mecklenburg have the 305 mm main guns, and they can hit very precise. I`m using tank / main battery builds on them, and they can kill cruisers and DD`s fast. Shooting HE is a waste of potential with this ships in most cases. Using of HE only on DD`s with thin armor and bow-on ships with very thick armor is my way to go with them.

Well Brandenburg isnt a copy pasted tirpitz she has better armor much larger icebreaker and sits lower in the water which if you play it right the hp nerf isn’t that bad

I picked this ship up for free in a container and it has performed from day one. Bottom tier, no problem just play it with respect to broadside and you will live to print credits. not using IFHE and the fire chance keeps the big timid ships at bay
