I had trouble getting my breath, I was laughing so much when The Protector was leaving the spacedock, and it scraps the left side, and they all leaned to the right. 😂

Galaxy Quest was close to perfection. The actors certainly appear to have formed enduring bonds of friendship, and to me that says how great this movie is.

Why do people always think of him as a 'serious' actor and i don't mean that as not being utterly brilliant, because he was truly, madly, deeply AMAZING. The first time people really saw him away from good old Blighty was in Die Hard and, though yes he had some serious moments their were also many, many comedic parts to that roll. Then you got Robin Hood, oh come on that was comedic genius right there and he totally upstaged the star of the show. 'Why a spoon, cousin? Why not an axe?' 'Because it's DULL, you twit. It'll hurt more.', his face was delicious delivering that line. Are crap gonna have to watch that again now. Dogma as the voice of god. Marvin the Paranoid Android in Hitch-Hikers, i mean these portrayals were comedy gold.

Truely, madly, deeply. It's an amazing Alan Rickman movie. It's about grief love and letting go. PS find ruby wax talking about Alan's care for her.

Whilst this video is an ode to Alan Rickman, and deservedly so, the death scene is equally Partick Breens, it was beautifully done by both....

when i first heard about the how they were going to make a real show I was so stoked. Then the news came out that Alan Rickman died and it was like fantasy coming true and then burned right in front of your eyes and I even said it when this movie came out a show would have been so awesome. im 37 now and this movie is still one of my favorites of all time. This movie reminds me of The African Queen with Hubphrey Boggart. That is another good movie to watch if you like classic flims.

The first time I ever saw Alan Rickman was in the 1980s when he was on Broadway doing Les Liaisons Dangereuses. It didn't take long for me to sit up and ask who this actor was. He was so arresting and, though not conventionally handsome, encompassed the part of the sexy seducer so perfectly (was very disappointed he wasn't in the film version). I followed his work ever since, even though he, like another great stage actor I was fortunate to see perform, Christopher Plummer, rarely got film parts that did justice to his abilities. I was devastated when hearing he had died. So young, a real loss of a great actor with such range.
