usually I catch the bomb if its early percent. If its later percent and its like footstool bomb into follow up there is nothing. I use z to grab the bomb. I do this to roy too if they start the combo too early.

to elaborate a little more. Im not sure what % bomb hitstun(from z dropping) is strong enough to be a true combo but at early percents I just z catch it mid combo. There is not enough time to get a real move out but you can steal the item before his move comes out if done right. This at least stops the z dropping

@@D3nsity_ is it by any chance faster than airdodging? Can’t rmb what frame Dedede’s airdodge is but I assume it’s like 3+. I’ve been mashing airdodge and SDI’ing out to no avail but never thought of trying to Z-catch the bomb. Might try that next time

catching items is frame 1 I think. I believe it has to be a neutral input tho, no directional catching

if you press B while holding down shield button you will not roll/spot dodge. This lets you get maximum tilt on the shield + as fast as possible

you can air dodge into the gordo or catch it with the begining of any move or aerial attack. Too late with a move and the move comes out rather than recatching gordo. You have to be within about jab 1 range of the gordo to catch it.

Bro had over 15.130mil GSP at the time and this was a month ago now. DDD has this issue where you are never going to think the person I defeat is good at the game

@@D3nsity_ yeah dedede never really looks like you're playing him well since his entire kit relies on pressure and forcing the opponent into bad places. Though I was starting to wonder after your third recent upload if you were drawing from a backlog of replays like you used to. Nice to see that you're in a spot where you can post consistently again.

No this is not correct. You can turn around all you want when you do BIRD, stops them from making you jump, You do have to reinput uptilt each turn around however. BIRD is also fake and actually never works. He happened to mash out mid turn around when no move was buffered but that also stopped the animations from playing

yolochip was partly right too since not turning around bird doesnt give them a window to escape where you havent even got a buffered attack ready. I started to turn around when doing it because it makes it seem harder lol
