Nonetheless, people have taught me Judo, Wing Chun, and BJJ. I've never been in a real fight, to be honest. Only once in my life I threw someone out of a club for harrassing me. My Wing Chun teacher always said it's all about defeating yourself. But my interest is self-confidence, and the ability to defend yourself. Boxing for instance is pure fighting, to hurt people. A big part of Wing Chun is about how to kill people in a few seconds.

a good martial arts teacher would never teach a person like u,marital arts arent meant to hurt people,u hurt someone when theres no other way to stop him..about systema being scam i dont know,please challenge a systema master and post the video of the fight so no one else gets scammed

Martial Arts are also about kicking someone's ass, believe me. Sure - but Systema is still a scam, in all terms, not only the "fighting" aspect.

I know what you mean. But I'm interested in fighting, nothing else. No big philosophy or esoterics for me. All matter of taste. Systema is too esoterical for me, for instance, when Ryabko says you have to "feel the soul of your opponent". I am just soo simple for that. I'd rather choose hard work, techniques that surprise or are able to defeat someone bothering me on the streets, to put it in a slightly primitive way ;-) . My Wing Chun teacher talked about "Cosmic Energy" - I quit. Peace!

I give you two guys that work: Anderson Silva, and Bas Rutten. THIS WORKS. FOR REAL. Proven in hundreds of REAL FIGHTS. This is the real shit, the thing to go for. I know.

All Systema videos are staged, choreographed, and hurtful to watch. I just cannot take this seriously. I hate fat man Ryabko doing his awkward stuff, and blasphemy or not, I'd like him to show me what the hell Systema is. I wrote a review about the Systema dvd "Systema: Strikes" for Amazon. I have to call bullshit all the way.... Please don't take it personal. For a long time, I thought Wing Chun is the ultimate art, but no style is the best. Or mixing stuff, using what's best for ya.

To me, Systema clearly is a scam. I can't tell it otherwise, bear with me, I'm just some stranger here. You do what is good for you. I did 5 years of Judo, then 4 years of Wing Chun, and now I like to do BJJ, and some boxing stuff. Anyway peace out,

I know Wing Chun. Wing Chun has absolutely nothing to do with the scam and fraud of Systema. Sorry man, it is my strong opinion, the guys from other martial arts may be respectful and friendly and all that, and to each his own, but still, I have some experience, and to serious martial arts practitioners, Systema is seen as a scam. I have written enough on my view in my last, 5 months old comments here I think. Be critical, even if convinced. See, if it really works in a fight situation.

MIkocharlie, I interestingly ran across this comment of yours just after seeing a video you'd posted. I just have to say after reading this post - you certainly have a sense of humor! I hope you are generally able to avoid those fights that you describe.

Thank you for the posts. I, personally, love the way Systema moves in freedom with unarranged flows. About Ryabko punch, I had taken it before, and yes it is heavy and go deep inside. I do not learn Systema for fighting. I grew up in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. Almost everyday, there are so many big fights, especially amongs the high school students. Many has died as well. They used weapons, rocks, and in large numbers. I experinced being attacked twice when I was in high school.

3) "martial arts expert", will punch you repeatedly in the Solar Plexus, and you must "absorb" and "feel" the punch to "neutralize" it etc., which is simply not acceptable. Every time I see this, I get nervy and feel like surprising him with a straigt right to his face. Just to surprise him. A few videos are titles "real fighting", but it is always those manipulated people throwing themselves to the ground, sometimes without even being touched. This is all ridiculous. Learning how to fight

2) No problem, Ryabko will tell you this on that DVD. This DVD I had to throw away in anger. I in the world of martial arts, Systema is seen as BS. Can't tell it otherwise. All the people I know who are working in security companies, bouncers, people I know from Wing Chun and Judo competitions all shake their heads when talking about this "art". Admittedly, I have not taken classes. But I am quite experienced in Judo, Wing Chun, and now BJJ. Most people notice from videos on youtube alone that Systema seems BS. Punches with shoulders? Punching someone with your chest? It all is possible in the world of Systema. "Listen to the soul of your opponent?"

Man, no offense, but could you provide me with some source of what you are talking about? I dont know if youve ever taken Systema classes yourself, but I wouldnt deem Systema completely useless, besides those punches (Ive never taken a punch from Ryabko so I cant tell if that actually works), you have some joint locking and many techniques using leverage and these techniques actually seem to work!

Systema is known bullshit. It's fraud. Ryabko is nothing but a fat liar. I am dead serious.
