You want movement to your wash n go’s? Do a modified version of the Anthony dickie method. I do this in the shower to avoid a big mess! After deep conditioning when my hair is full of water and conditioner (if needed, add more of both to get that weight), I shake it like a rockstar for 10 seconds. Then I rinse. After applying your styling products, do a little for shaking again for a couple seconds. This encourages natural separation of your curls. I don’t even have to rake, just separate and smooth some of the larger curl clumps! Works like a charm. The only Combo I tried that has 808 that I like =808+ crazy Sexy curl+ bee girl custard in that order. The foam adds slip for easier application, the combo has Fantastic hold with the crunch you are after.

When you take the rollers out don’t come the curls out, use your fingers to separate the curls, that’s what I have seen done in other roller set videos. Other than that I think you did a good job.

This was right on time as I wine down. Curl elixir had me in a chokehold for once upon a time as for wash n gos and was everything for finger coils. I love that you can just mist your hair with water to reactivate the product. I’ve only tried her scalp care deep conditioner that’s only available online. I might have to try that conditioner though 🤔
