@@Colinfichman Lightning took out the outside board. It had been over 10 years anyway and I did the install myself. Replaced the entire unit with a Gree for not much more than Mitsubishi wanted for the board. So far so good. At the time I did the original install, Mitsubishi was the only game in town. Now there are lots of viable options.

@@davidb5952 Thanks for reply , two hot wires is two faze one faze is one hot wire , on eqwipment says one faze 200 somthing V .there is no single faze 240 v in us ,can you explain that .

Thanks for your question! No, the UV components are not doing the same thing. In the Pure Air, the UV is used to neutralize contaminants as they “pass” through the device. In the Air Scrubber, the UV is one component used in the manufacturing of hydrogen peroxide molecules. The other two components: the quad metal cell surrounding the UV and hydrogen (moisture) from the air that passes through the device. The hydrogen peroxide molecules are then carried down the duct and into the home/facility where we purify both the air & surfaces. The hydrogen peroxide molecules then revert back to hydrogen and are absorbed by the surroundings, while the device continues to make more molecules to be distributed throughout the facility. In addition, the Air Scrubber removes dust & other particles suspended in the air by use of positive & negatively charged ions. Charged particles then attract together and are filtered out by the filtration system.
