People go crazy when the trout come in. I got tired of a guy posting gators from his dock all the time. I knew the county and pulled the deed. Its been my honey hole ever since! Bout time you got a 6 pack!

It is. It’ll wear you out. The average battle is about 3-4 mins on a Daiwa BG 3000 w/20 braid and 20 fluro. I have to cut out about 60-70% of the fight. They’re strong as can be. Just like Bonito. Get out there. You’ll know when you see them.

I finally caught my first beach Albie last weekend!!! Think early/mid November is too late from the shore? That’s likely the next chance I’ll get to go.

Almost everyone ahead of us had a fish 3lb_4lb. Literally one good vs what we stayed in all day. Everyone seemed to struggle. We just got extremely lucky.

Bro, I’m really not sure. Only reason I fished this one was bc my Facebook memories popped up. I literally signed up with 1 or 2 days to go. Most times I see post being shared on FB but that’s it.

@@SlackTidesFishing we live in the middle of the state but have a place to stay in bayboro. We fish bay neuse and pamlico about every week in the fall and winter. Maybe well see u on the water one day....great job for not knowing the area.

Imma be honest. I don’t think they’re there now. Water was 74 2 weeks ago. It was 84 yesterday afternoon from what I was told. If I had to guess they moved back close to the inlet. In deeper water.

Well 2 weeks ago it was 6-8’ water was like 74. Now it’s back up to 83 and they’ve moved somewhere else. I assume back to deeper water

Good job rich, I'm starting to get the itch myself. It's wild I've been picking some nice specs up off a pier in the ocean and they're definitely a lighter color. They seem to be a little more rounded and chunkier too.
