I do like the idea of a "George Bush National Park" not named after George Bush, but rather some random bush or species

I might still argue that it can be considered art if that was the intention behind typing it into an AI and then pushing a button or whatever it was the human had to do. If it was intended as, say, a satirical piece like Andy Warhol's tomato soup cans, it could be considered art.

Most of the comments in these engagement-farm groups are from bots or sockpuppets, but I'm sure there are real human beings who are also driving the engagement. Most of the real accounts are owned by elderly people and Third World people, both types of which tend to have low Internet literacy. That's why they naively believe that these AI-generated images are photographs of real people, sculptures, and animals.

AGI would, from a social perspective, be akin to instantaneously regressing to pre-industrial revolution society with no time to adjust. Basically all industrial and information-based jobs would be cut as capitalists would see no need to keep human employees instead of the cheaper AI, leaving millions, or even billions, without a means of support. Places with benefits systems would see those systems collapse immediately because they are not designed to support entire populations. Cities would simply cease to be viable, leading to mass and desperate migration to the countryside, where most of the land is already owned and there aren't nearly enough jobs to cover for our current information and industrial employment rates. A large percentage of humanity would starve to death. The majority of humans left would be land-owning subsistence farmers, ruled over by a wealthy militarised elite that owns the AGI. Put simply, with our current political systems it would end our civilisation, and if it's possible then it poses a greater threat than giving a 3 year-old the US nuclear codes.

Well that’s 400 years of erosion, people chipping away at it, and people walking on it. Of course it’s just a little boulder now.
