Even out of context I still get it and it makes sense if you know the history of the U.S slave trading. He didnt want to be saved and kept a prisioner in Wakanda. @@alan62036 well technically the Kingdom of Wakanda is a small nation in North East Africa. Those Wakandans are considered Africans but later on they isolated themselves from the world. Killmonger routinely referred to all black people as "our brothers and sisters." He wasn't referring to his own specific ancestry. He was referring to African ancestry in general and Wakanda, like I said, is in North East Africa. All Wakandans are African but not all Africans are Wakandan. Of course those specific Africans he mention, may not be ancestors of his, but you can still feel a bit of saddness for the people of your continent that gotten taken and choosen death over bondage. Regardless, Killmonger is African. He has a African American mother. His father did not marry a Wakandan.
