Forget the dress code. What about the incredible singer that's ministering through song.

I see certain comments about Rodney’s apparel. Many of us have jobs that require a dress code. A doctor’s known/recognized by his/her uniform, it sets him apart from the staff. A mechanic is known by his/her uniform. If we were to eat at Chik- Fil- A restaurant we’d discover that all employees are uniformed. If we by any chance had a court date, before that judge exit his/her chambers, the bailiff would give instructions to all that await. All cell phones off, “hats” off (men), etc. To avoid any other additional problems we’d comply!!! Why, because a standard has been set for each of the above mentions. BUT, when it comes to the church, the house of God, we have so many negative things to say. Why would we not show God the same if not more respect for His house and His presence. What we wear to Gods house IS IMPORTANT! I understand Rodney’s position, this guy is one of the most humble dudes that I’ve watched for years. Since he played on one of Marvin Sapps Albums. I’m not speaking about the wave cap. I’m referring to the comments “churchy” ppl. The church is supposed to hold a standard, but not brow beat. To those that know better should do better.

I see all of these negative comments, when this is actually a very rare occurrence: this looks like Pastor Carlis Moody, the composer of "Available To You," singing his song! Bro. Rodney East probably did not know he was going to play this song for him . . . so his dress code would not be appreciated by "churchy" people! I am LOVING this!!! Thank you, Marcus for posting this!

his clothing is fine. He more then likely forgot his wave cap was on. I forgot onetime at my cousins funeral. Then i was more mad none of the other men reminded me .

We are the house of God the people not the building our bodies are the temple of God we are concerned about a hat I wonder how many of us curse drink smoke and do other things wearing a hat does not make a man holy the way you live doss let’s stay connected the way a man runs his house is the way he run his house if I come to your house I do how you do at your house but it won’t make a man get in heaven or not so it doesn’t matter and these are the reasons that folk don’t come to your little organizations it’s about the soul verse not about clothing.

Religion cares about the cap on his head. Jesus doesn't care at all. That's the problem with the black church right now. Unfortunately, we're caught up in the wrong things! I'm a black preacher and musician.
@rjonesmusic Жыл бұрын
No offense but that is Not at All true! God wants excellence everywhere not just in the things we deem important. The priestly garment was specifically designed for the service of God. Jesus never did away with the law, He fulfilled it. His role was specific, His appearance was specific, His actions were specific, and his process was specific. Modern Christians do this in ignorance. There is so much more to the relationship and the worship. There is too much to say in this text but know that there are principles and this Ultra grace stuff is far from the heart of God. When you study deeper you will find that there is more. God's Blessings!❤️🔥

@@rjonesmusic But the Lord said unto Samuel, “Look not on his countenance or on the height of his stature, because I have refused him; for the Lord seeth not as man seeth. For man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.”
@rjonesmusic Жыл бұрын
@heartofdavid2808 God does look at the heart no argument there. He may mean no harm but the question is would he do that at other important places God looks at that too. You have to be careful how you go before a King.
@gjh78107 ай бұрын
@@heartofdavid2808I would also like to add concerning the scripture cited... "countenance, stature, height" are things we have little control of. When you have a choice of what you decide to wear at a specific place you are going, your heart toward that is on display to some degree. This attire says, "I want to be comfortable". Is that wrong? That is up for further discussion. But what can be said is that God does not get glory from your comfort. When you are willing to be uncomfortable for God sake that is a heart glorifies our God.
