Твоё сердце бьётся быстрей и быстрей. Позади силуэты, их больше и больше. Ты выходишь к большему озеру,отстреливаешь последние патроны в их сторону. Бежишь по льду. Проваливаешся, но выкарабкиваешся, бежишь дальше. Ты с ужасом наблюдаешь, что озеро затягивается со всех сторон, их уже сотни, потом тысяча. Ты понимаешь, что тебе больше некуда бежать, помощь не придёт. В окружении среди толпы, уже тысячи. Подъезжают большие машины, среди толпы. Ты в кольце Джон, ты обречён, они так долго этого ждали. Но ты не слышишь больше ихнего крика, они стягиваются молча,огромные чёрные тучи. Ноги замерли от холодной воды. Будь что будет, остался только нож. Иду напролом, навстречу к ниииим!Лучше я так сдохну, приняв бой.

the magic of the piece is that you've essentially stumbled into another world entirely, one that exists whether you're listening or not. it doesn't need to have all sorts of surprising turns and crescendos because it's eternally doing its own thing

But you can kind of understand her behavior though. Cause she's been used to conducting operations 'by the book', and use of lethal force for her is probably very last resort, that's why she's so shocked by her new team's conduct.
