I’m a massive Van Halen fan and Stylo is one of my favourite Gorillaz songs so seeing them both on here was really cool, I actually never realized how similar they sounded now that I hear it

I love that one of Gorillaz's most popular songs samples a Tom Tom Club that isn't Genius of Love. There's just something about it that feels so perfect.

13:30 One more thing, Atmos is actually a Latin elevator song, and it is complete on KZbin even with different "Perspectives". If you want to understand better what I'm telling you, you can search for it on KZbin as "Latin Elevator Music, From Next Room Perspective" Pd. If you will made an update to this video, add the song Bassment, a Kano song feat. Damon Albarn

How is the Tom Tom Club sample used on Feel Good Inc? I personally can't hear it in the clip and it isn't on Whosampled, I assume it would be the drums but the drums sound different to me in the clip.

6:05 Something to note about Hip Albatross is that a lot of the other voice clips used in it are also from Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead. For an example, I’m pretty certain a handful of the zombie growls are from Bub the zombie in Day of the Dead. The “whirlybird” line towards the end of the song is also from early on in that film. You could honestly spend another five minutes of the video just showing where every one of the clips comes from.

22:36 “float tropics” or ‘sloped tropics’, the only known fragment of the TMOP song, was reused almost intact in the song night watch of rocket juice & the moon, where damon albarn collaborated, and in the case of cleopatra, I have analyzed the song worries of the same group, since the name coincides with the structure of this song.

@@24danidog another discovery, i was even before night watch in foward sweep of the same rocket juice and the moon. and now i confirm it.
