It definitely feels like their implementation was an afterthought in WoW's release. You find in the 1-60 pre-raid drops, that their speeds are most closely equivalent to daggers but they have slightly higher top end. It's essentially like using really fast swords. After I got these knuckles, I bounced on my boy's fist to this short for hours.

@ oh i thought the appeal was that they are slower with high damage so they would benefit more from an instant attack like SS

@@Yambag All of the late game and raid-tier fist weaps are usually slower, 2.2-2.6 speed so we should see some crazy scaling with SS when we get there.

Some people like to self implement restrictions further than just hardcore, in this case it looks like he's either doing white fist weapon only or just straight fist weapon only. Some people like to do only white armour and things like that :)

For this challenge we’re are going 1-60 with fist weapons only, no handouts, must 100% all questing zones I enter to quest, and starting at level 46 (our next weapon upgrade) I will have to always have equipped a vendor item (thrown/crafted recipes don’t count).
