Endlessly amused that 5 years on, my comment about Oasis is still being taken as serious, even in light of explaining it as sarcastic. And mentioning haircuts. Most pathetic thing you've ever read David L, until you read your own comment back one assumes.

that's the most pathetic thing I've ever heard. the most simple of all Oceansize songs has more musical and artistic work on it than a whole Oasis album. no kidding

We watched this today in Summer School. We begged our teacher, because one of the guys in this band is his brother-in-law and a teacher at ATEMS.c:

the narration is fucking stupid. it's like '' oh look, this silly band dreams of going to america, boo hoo'' when they are one of THE BEST BANDS EVER... and i agree with Bassrock18... oasis? blur? kaiser chiefs? lawl.

I LOVE this band. They don't make music like this anymore. It's all about "what's popular", which is never anything talented, just something simple with a nice beat. I'd like to see any of them accomplish what this band does.

"HEY, this is OCEANSIZE and we're in MANCHESTURR...my name's Mike, this is Cameron." In just a few words, Mike has pretty much let anyone know what us American's sound like. We're all named either Mike, Cameron or Bradley and we all talk like that (Seriously, everyone would fucking say Manchesturr. Don't let anyone tell you different). Also, Salt Lake City is a fucking shithole. I should know. I live 20 miles away from it.

i hope Oceansize doesnt get to commercial, it really can ruin the band and music. i kind of like it where they are now, a small dedicated group of fans that really enjoy the music Oceansize is all about, I hate the big group of sheeps that follow and start crowdsurfing at shows...

People really rag on this album, but honestly I think it's easily better than Effloresce and Frames. I haven't heard the new one, so I can't comment there, but seriously, this album is so solid.

This looks brilliant for the budget- it only looks cheap in the bits with the band performing in my opinion. I think it would've been even better if you'd focussed on the bits with the stop motion (real clever) and the overlapping faces (also really clever) and developed some kind of narrative from it. But really, you have one of the best songs by one of the best bands ever soundtracking it so it's all good. Revisit those ideas sometime!

This is such a weird documentary. They want to do the whole "British Invasion" thing and choose...Oceansize? I've never seen one of the best bands in the world underplayed so much...I mean come on, Noel Gallagher doesn't deserve screen time...

@lordbredbury I could tell it wasn't done on a very high budget but I wouldn't say it looks cheap. I think you did a fantastic job on this. I'm sure I've contributed at least 300 views to this video by myself, since discovering it a year and a half ago lol.
