She was the First Lady of Country. Tammy didn't die of a blood clot. It was drugs. Richey let her lie dead on the couch most of the day before calling his lawyer, then her Dr. in Pittsburgh. Richey sat in his recliner, likely popping Valiums, with her dead on the couch. She was taken that evening to the FH on Thompson Ln where embalming erased much of the drugs, except Versed & Phenergan. Richey either intentionally ODd her or didn't properly monitor. Versed by itself can stop breathing and is rarely given outside of ambulatory surgery centers at the very least. Sheila was using Tammy's credit card out shopping before Tammy died; even a wk after her death. Hank's wife did die there just inside the front door.

Her sister and Brother in Law have a permanent Summer Campsite at Racoon Holler. We, along with her cousin and a good friend, try to go up each summer or over labor day. We were there over July 4th and it was packed with Christmas in July. I can't wait to try it when we are there next. We had to stay in Wilkesboro during July because that was the closest Hilton Hotel I could find (I work for Hilton). I enjoyed the ride through the mountains each morning. I also love the people - including the friendly people in Wilkesboro. Thank you for another great video. You really captured the town.

I've been here for eleven years and it has changed so much in that little time frame. The Grand Bohemian opened 2 years ago and I have yet to venture inside to explore because I'm too busy riding my bike on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Greenville also has a great theater scene. Don't forget the proximity to the mountains, waterfalls and state parks that are an hour away. Thanks for featuring the restaurants I usually walk past cuz I'm not really a foodie. :)

This is the second home that Barbara, and her family lived. She designed the plans for this home and her husband bulit this home for her. Then Barbara and her family moved after only fifteen years maybe a little less than that. She and her husband sold the home to John Rich . John Rich even produced a short reality series in the 2000s in the Fontanel home. In interviews Barbara in the past she said that she and her family would always stay in the Fontanel home with her family. All of sudden she moves in to a third home with her family and Barbara never looked back at Fontanel home in rare recent interviews she does not talk about this home that she desired wanted to have at that time. The last time Fontanel was sold , it was sold to a company or private investor who obviously who does not want any thing to do with the property and the home is just sitting there just rotting away and the beautiful widow celings now are just with mold. I am always going to admire Barbara Mandrell's voice but I have often wondered over years if she made the right deicison for her and her family by living in a huge home only to discover that the home that Barbara loved so much has remained empty, abandon and just rotting away. The structure of the home is still beautiful though. God Bless - Jason.
