Hi there, I think you're asking a question related to stocking rate (animals / acre) but also paddock size. eShepherd can work with small paddocks (<1 acre square for example) or large paddocks (as large as you like). In terms of density, an eShepherd customer is grazing multiple mobs 25-30 animals on 0.75-1.0 acre paddocks. This grazing method is sometimes called Techno Grazing. I would not simply multiply this stocking rate to larger paddock sizes. Large mobs of animals need to managed in appropriately sized paddocks (whether physical or virtual).

Hi @beefongrass6074 Yes, partial weight data is collected, converted to full body weight, then is transmitted to the Cloud, and sent straight to the farmer’s computer or device.

My guess is that it is grounded to the mounting post but it is not entirely clear.

@@sidneykantor I had the positive end of the fence connected to the positive terminal, the negative end of the fence to the ground rod, and the energizer mounted on the ground rod. Barely any voltage moved thru the fence. When I touched that energizer though, I got hit hard. The fence was probably defective, so we sent that back... The fence was that nylon rope with metal wire strands twisted around it. It was not a good one to use, I suppose.

@@GallagherAnimalManagement I am communicating with a fellow named Bradford as I was told that he is the Rep for Western Canada and we are on Vancouver Island. He hasn’t responded to this issue though

Bradford has been great and it turns out that our new TW3 monitor was shipped with very outdated software. We have Wireless Loadbars and the TW3 won’t respond. Fence Fast was who I purchased from at an Ag show in February and they assured me that the monitor would work.

@@GallagherAnimalManagement Bradford was awesome in his customer support and he got us up and running after it was diagnosed as a software issue. I did leave a review on your website and I do want to add that this Gallagher Scale purchase has been a very positive experience so far, but the people at Fence Fast could have done more to support us. When Bradford got involved any issues that we had got dealt with very quickly. Thank You !!

@@GallagherAnimalManagement I bought this product from you guys not the Territory Mngr. You guys should be responsible for proper install and grounding instructions for all different tera's. After many hours of research I have found the way I need my fence.
