I have the same year and trim. 150k and no engine issues. Had to replace the clutch and radiator around 130 and an odd one, my gear lever shaft broke(apparently that’s a common issue) and yeah, the AC unit isn’t great and mine failed a lot earlier but no other major problems.

Glad to come across your channel. I absolutely love mine! Same exact livery but with all white wheels(and the very hard to find 8 spoke spider rear wheel), OEM side cases etc. Been looking for that supercharger from A&A released years ago but its very hard to find. So stoked yours have one. Enjoy her brother!

@andy2906 for the supercharger? When it was released, the kit was ~$5,000 usd. Took bike from around 100hp to about 175.

Hi people. I'm in Australia, I just bought a 2007 Mint VFR800. I'll be picking it up in a few weeks. Only 3400km on it been garaged and never seen the rain. I can't wait. If anyone can tell me where to find a supercharger....I'd be very happy.
@jonathanboring32866 ай бұрын
To my knowledge there were only 6 kits produced for the 6th generation VFR800. The Facebook group "Boosted vfr owners" may have more info for you.

The header is a one-off that was a group buy from some VFR owners on a forum. The silencers will be Leo Vince.

I can't find the brand of the silencers. they are certainly silencers adapted to VFR

Been doing a lot of research since I do not know the ins and outs of this vehicle and have been worried with reliability concerns. I am getting more confidence now after watching your video. Thanks

What would you consider regular maintenance. I’ve been changing my oil every 3,000 miles because I’ve heard that’s better for the car. 21’ wrx
@jonathanboring32862 жыл бұрын
I did a LOT of highway driving. I changed oil every 6k, air filter every 12, and all fluids (trans, diffs, brakes, coolant etc...) every 2 years (about 80k). Regular tire rotation every 6k miles. Short drives where engine oils doesn't get to temp decrease oil life in running gear, change more often if you do a lot of city driving. That also impacts carbon buildup if engine tends to run "cooler", IE, short trips. That will tend to carbon up a bit more.
