I agree, though Grovyle carries the team unless Houndoom is there.

@therominempire in my playthroughs, Grovyle has been bloody useless there. Being in third position only protects the rear unless you spend at least 2 turns swapping positions or are in a room and letting him catch up. Thankfully my duo was water and fire types last time.

I feel like I have had the complete opposite experience as anyone during "escort" missions. I heard horror stories about how useless Cresselia is in Dark Crater, yet I never had a problem. Perhaps it was because I had Pikachu, but I ultimately welcomed the additional firepower I would receive in any mission where the "client" is not level 10 or something be it Chatot, Grovyle, Cresselia, or Shaymin.

@ Yeah no I didn't think they were so annoying either. Grovyle was useless, but not a burden, he just never really contributed actively. Cresselia though was a problem just because of the numerous super-effective attacks coming from the rear when you expect it the least, or from ghost-type pokemons standing in walls that you're forced to walk in front of. Many reviver seeds were lost to those.

I believe this is the longest dungeon up to this point in the game, so maybe that's why. I always accidentally end up getting Pikachu as my starter, so I never really had a hard time unless I got careless. Thanks for listening, and happy holidays to you too!

8bitdrummer rocks. Cool to hear that KZbin recommended this after that video! I am surprised to hear that people do not get the starting bass line correctly... It is isolated and everything. Usually, I go for one octave higher or lower depending on how the range of my instruments. It does not take away anything from the music for me. Before I started this project, I listened to ToxicEternity's cover of this and thought I could take a different enough approach. I am not as good at the guitar as him, though. Thanks for your story and feedback!
