Keith Cobb leaving because he wasn't satisfied with the storylines, and Lexa Doig leaving for pregnancy (?) unfortunately doomed the show. Going in really weird directions.

This show went downhill over time, I love the first few seasons but I just quit after this moment, I've tried watching the last season a couple of times but just can't, it had jumped the shark and there's no coming back from it. What was a show about a normal person out of time and rebuilding civilization because about literal space hercules, the earlier seasons felt way more grounded and meaningful, as it progressed it lost that. I still love the show, it's probably my 6th or 7th favourite scifi franchise (doctor who, star wars, star trek, firefly, stargate, battlestar galactica and farscape beat it, and if my friend is right in counting it as scifi buffy) but it is sad how far it dropped in quality over the years.

Do you have any idea how challenging it is to find a scene with .. Just Andromeda from the TV Show called Andromeda. And what a crock it is. You call this a plot twist, my greatest love is my greatest foe. That is so cliche. I've seen it all now.😪

I love what this show was in the beginning, and I mourn what it became. After season 2, they switch writers, and in-universe consistency goes out the window. Even with all the flaws, it's special. I wish this had been the end of the show. It would have been so much better than what we got. Sad, but fulfilling.

where did the consistency go out the window? The commonwealth as it was newly created had its flaw's and this shows(alongside it being corupt AF, most people who went into the new commonwealth had NO CLUE of civilisation or this large an alliance(first try democracy germany was equaly a failure, they didnt know how to and what it was). Tyr made his move OBVIOUSLY because of it, wich in turn COULD HAVE prevented any big war ever again given then the nizeans and the commonwealth would be allies once more. The extraterestical invaders where a nice touch to it too and the magok as final foe where perfect. The ONLY THING not EXPLAINED AT ALL was the 3 person to lift hammer. It was there as an adventure RPG sidestory, nothing more. B5 would have at least made it be important later, andromeda did forget about it. Season 5 answered SOME unspoken questions about all of the chars too, so it had its place. People crying about it are the same that made Enterprise be canceled prior to earth-Romulan war, wich years later did bite us HARD with the shit they pulled with discovery and picard...

It really is a lovely song. I could not find the soundtrack. I would love to have all these. Even the Commonwealth song is great! They did a good job. They did what they could in the end with their budget cut. They did pretty good considering. I was not a fan of them stuck on that planet. But it made sense when you hear their budget was so low. I guess I will have to settle for KZbin.

Season 5 is really good. Definitely a bit confusing, but all of Andromeda is a bit confusing. You either accept that or you're not going to like the show.

I was reawatching the show and its funny : in the finale i forgot about the nietchiens. A few things : of all crew members only Harper rejected The Abyss and refused to save himself from The maggogs eggs. Beka got possesed and never used Harper as the key to stop the abyss. He got a few good bits in season 4 and as resoult The Earth gets destroyed on a whim
