Never have I heard a more hauntingly beautiful, yet physically painful ballad. This song brings sobs from my diaphragm… recalling the most influential, the most painfully unrequited love I have ever known. It brings it all back, but I love it because I feel alive once again. Thank you Röyksopp!!!

You know I have to go There's nothing more to say 'Cause you're better off alone It's got to be this way You know I've got to go There's nothing more to say Surely you will know In the light of day I've learnt how to stay gracious in defeat 'Cause I've never been victorious And now you offer me to feel complete You've given me your trust 'Cause I wanna give the honesty you need Nothing false or dubious I want us to be all that we can be I want this for the two of us You know I have to go There's nothing more to say Surely you will know In the light of day Wish I had the courage to explain To let myself be heard I wish there was a way to break the chain But I struggle with the words Say you wanna take me to your bed But it's hard to know Maybe it's because we're off our heads Or maybe this is love...

when I hear that glass broken whatever it is, I think is like a beautiful heart that is broken and it is a so beautiful heart that even its destruction is a beautiful scene...with beautiful flashes of purity coming out of it in a lovely way but a shame because it wont return to its original form

Royksopp is the coolest shit EVER!! These guys have made me feel deep emotions for over 12 years. Musical Genius'. Thanks Royksopp for enhancing the quality of my experience of life. I love YOU GUYS! "I had this thing" "Forever" now, "you know I have to go" bc of my "compulsion." "Save me" from this "sordid affair." Her name was "Eple." and the alcholic uis actually a "forsaken cowboy" eating a "meatball" :Please "remind me" about the "monument" at "the inevitable end". "You don't have a clue" if you want to live a life of goo. Royksopp has been intertwined into my soul.

This song is soooo beautiful. It's like a ballad. Too bad this is Royksopp's last album as a group. They made some incredible music throughout the years. My all time favorite though is definitely "What Else is There" And the Trentemoller remix was just a Scandinavian miracle. Lol.
@manuel327200119 жыл бұрын
last album yes but they said they are still gonna release EP's still as Royksopp.
