Say he can still sing and it sounds much better. I did like him in El Niño. .. also i’ll always have the El Niño songs with him singing that I dig. It’s hard for me to get into new music. Do I think this band is better than El Niño? It’s different but it’s not. It is my opinion. I’m glad he’s doing something still other singer for El Niño actually actually pretty good also also outgrown that phase

The fact that Obituary have been doing this since the 1980s and John's voice is still as amazing sounding as it is given all the records, tours and so on is a fuckin' testament to the fact he IS one of Death Metal's best vocalists EVER! Can't wait to see them with Sepultura and Agnostic Front on Sepultura's final tour!

problem is this, he only wants to showcase himself and not a good band or players. Needs to be a full package or just go on stage with backing tracks and play then himself. Center-up the band and make it look like something other than him, even though its his music and it will just add to the show. The players are just regular looking guys playing the parts. Also, the wall of Marshalls I never understood, as it looks to me as a distraction and nothing more and a waste of gear, setup and space. Center the band up, put them in some stage clothing, put Yngwie in center and take charge. Hire a singer/frontman even that can take charge with him. Just getting boring over and over the same routine and selfishness of Yngwie. The players are good and should be out there as well.

@@BackwardzCap well, his voice is fried because of the pretty traumatic technique. It is what it is. If you scream with your diaphragm correctly, you can save your voice for a very long years.
