You can do NAFDAC Registration without Trademark but I don't advise that because when you are ready to do Trademark the name you want to use might not be available. Àt that point even the name you used for NAFDAC, u may have to do a fresh name and start afresh. When you use a name that is not your trademark, the owner of the name can sue you

Secondly ma, I'm small scale yoghurt producer but i do not have factory neither equipment, I'm producing it at home becos because I couldn't avoid the expenses for equipment for now. Pls is there any way I can do the nafdac registration maybe by borrowing another person factory to register my product? I finished my NYS two years ago, it was after NYS i went to learned hw to produced yoghurt pls i need help at this junction God bless you abundantly ma.

@@ajayiabiodun5306 Please watch my videos on NAFDAC Registration. I have about 14 videos there. It will help answer your questions. However you need a dedicated space for yogurt production not your home. Get an agent to help you with Trademark . Some charge up to 80k for it. I don't know how much it is now.

Good morning.. You will need NAFDAC Registration if you are supplying to supermarkets. But for a start you can create the product and start selling to individuals, this will help you test the product in the market and know if there is demand for it, this will also help you get feedback from customers. When you have proved the product go ahead and scale your product by getting your NAFDAC Registration Number. I have created 14 videos to help you register, watch them on my Channel here. I also created a book to help you with documentation.

Some use sodium benzoate, any preservative you decide to use ask the seller how to apply it.

I know that she has to register each spice separately but N800,000 is it just on registration fees? If it's just registration fees alone, then I think it's high, did she use an agent? The person will also include his or her fees. But if it includes other aspects of the registration like documentation etc then it's possible she spent even more

Check in your location and ask. You can buy bulk from lagos or Asaba. But as a beginner go to any major market in your location and ask

I'd rather skip that and cover it with the Profit Mark up. added. To ensure that the price is competitive.

Please if you have to use preservatives check the label of the product you use to know the required quantity or better still ask the seller of the product for the accurate usage. Over usage can be very poisonous. I also dropped a handle in this video @temilayoandmom's channel she did a video on that.
