Thanks for this great review, but it really looks like a 3-Color sunburst with the intermediate red tone.

Would like to have an all solid GS Mini, with special Inlays, full gloss and a 44,5mm nut width^^.... than it would be perfect. Without it, its just very good^^.

As someone who took the Martin tour just once and came back with a project from the Guitar Maker's Connection I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall in the wood locker and the custom shop! That said, recently Driftwood Guitars out of Florida did a custom build with maple back and sides and a cedar top and it sounded great. I wonder how sinker redwood would pair with maple?

Hello and thank you for your video. Would you recommand this bass for playing more harder genre styles like Hard Rock and Metal?

That thing looks even better in person! I know that maple is not Martin's go to wood, but it's gorgeous and a lovely playing experience if people want something unique and special.

Good morning Joe! That sounds terrific! It looks fantastic as well. Wonder what it would be with walnut deep body 12-fret? Always thinking as to what would go best with the next song. Thanks for the guitars I have from you, especially the Collings OM-41.

The 54 P is the true P sound! But don't buy an American. The quality like all American products is bad. Buy the Japanese one. Way cheaper and way better quality!

That bass shape would be perfect if it was made with 2 split coil pickups, like the later P bass or the J bass, especially with noiseless pickups.

I have a 2013 Custom Shop 59 P and a Custom Shop LTD P-Special I bought from you guys about a month ago. The P-Special has the same 65-70 pickup as the 1966 in the video. I find the 59 has a very clear, articulate tone. While the 65-70 has a thicker, meatier tone.
