Well according to Ancestry I am 64% Irish (my genealogy shows my family is from the Galtee Mountaine) in Munster. 30% Scottish (narrowed down to the Scottish Highlands), and then 6% Germanic Europe. I would say all of these are true for me and it’s good I love the rain because I live in the Seattle area lol

Listen it's much more subtle and easier to detect, Protestants put the toaster in the cupboard after use, Catholics leave it on the worktop, the test works every time try it out, curtesy of Derry girls

My granny always had a fruit bowl with fruit and monkey nuts around Halloween time. We used to get fruit and nuts as treats going door to door, too. Our costumes were bin liners and awful sweaty masks masks too. Face paints started coming in around the early 90s. Carved turnips are actually horrific. My son and I just carved our pumpkin today. It's by no means scary. My husband said it's too cute 😅

Why do Catholic Irish Republicans celebrate Patrick, who was a Briton made a slave by Irish raiders? He, after escaping, years later returned to Ireland to help the other Christian captives, & attempt to convert the Irish to Christianity, & so lead them towards civilisation. So the Irish revere a British 'coloniser'. The letter 'H' is pronounced Aitch in English. Maybe it is 'Haitch' in Ireland & elsewhere?
