How ironic they are all dancing to his music but during that era he was not allowed among them. Now black artistes can go anywhere

The Jitterbug or Bop dancing of the 1950s is not represented in these video clips; it's the 1940s style jitterbug that is seen in the video clips here. The song however is from the 1950s.

Hi, yes I know :) I just put the music over the dancing video, I thought it looked good so I decided to post it.
@LenHealsU2 жыл бұрын
@@EntityTaken No worries. It did look good. There are lots of 1950s type videos of that dancing too. Thank you for posting. It was fun to watch! :)

Hi. It's me. The busker. I hate when people film. The audio is always bad. In case you liked the tunes. The first was my own composition "miss sandra mackay of lewis", the second, one on vid,is considered the isle of lewis national anthem, its called "the little brown isle" ,but that's the english translation. The band I learned it from,and it's a really popular gaelic song,was "tannas". Say hello with a smile,or introduce yourself,and I'll play the set for you. 🙂
@EntityTaken3 жыл бұрын
Oh my ahh, I can't believe this video found you! Sorry I recorded without permission, I was too anxious to ask and didn't want to interrupt :3 I thought it was beautiful and it really captured my heart ♥ I'd love to hear the full composition if your music was available anywhere :3
@gordonmcculloch15763 жыл бұрын
If you search miss sandra Mackay of lewis,you can hear a version, to be honest,it was recorded for a "library " cd. Its music people buy to use on tv,films etc,was a stripped back version. You can get it on KZbin free. I dont really look myself up,someone told me to check out you're 'like'. I meant what I said earlier,please make yourself known to me,and I'll play you the set. I haven't recorded anything available in Scotland, I'm scottish,but when I was younger, all my professional stuff was abroad. I'll look out the gaelic name for the second tune and send it on. Thanks again. When you busk,moneys good,but it means more that,just for a second,when music becomes more.🌍😊
@gordonmcculloch15763 жыл бұрын
Ok. The second tune I played,is a Gaelic song. It translates as,'little (lovely) brown island in the ocean. In Gaelic its 'eilean beag donn a' chuain. I've never looked,but it's a song people from the isle of lewis always request as it reminds them of home. Good luck.and thanks again for the compliment.
