Thank you! I really appreciate your kind words. The Solar 42f is amazing! Such a unique and inspiring instrument, it’s expensive and hard to get hold of but worth it I think. The vinyl sound here is from the SP404 you are correct, though I think I also have some extra ‘texture’ looping on the looper, which I played from the Sonicware Ambient O-which is also a great synth for not a lot of money

Hi my Friend, very good vidéo, How to connect tr8s and microfreak, what are the settings please and kind of link and where 😊🙏?
@Magnetic_loopsАй бұрын
@@Moi-x4d thank you. I think in this video everything was connected via the Akai force using a small off screen mixer to take the audio from the microfreak and the TR8s and send it into the Force. Force is also sending midi clock and transport data to the TR8s and the Force. You could achieve a similar thing with just the TR8S and the microfreak though, just connect the audio out of the microfreak into the audio in of the TR8s and link the 2 via midi (you’ll need a 5 pin midi lead coming out of the midi out from the TR8s and into the midi in on the microfreak (you’ll have to use one of the included midi adapters) - these 2 make a great pair for techno!

Great piece. Very evocative and dark. What role did the Roland sampler play?
@Magnetic_loopsАй бұрын
Thank you very much. The SP404mk2 was just used for some end of chain processing and as an audio interface. I think I have some light reverb and compression on it, but nothing else really, this is 95% Solar 42. I do enjoy having the SP at the end of my chain though as it’s so versatile. It allows me to bring in some fx, grab sections of audio as samples to loop or trigger files recording samples etc, so wears a few hats for me in different performances. It’s an audio interface as well, so it’s the perfect ‘Swiss army knife’ box for me.
@soarornorАй бұрын
@ Ah, yes. I figured it might be something like that. Would love to see it in action mixed with the 42. You have a nice setup. Looking forward to hearing more. 🌿🌝🦌
