A week? The Hornet King can get the whole job done and be on to the next one. What kind of pest control doesn't even get the job done that day?

Looks like a stack of pancakes to me I’d be safe in saying that nest wouldn’t taste near as good as the pancakes. GOD BLESS.

Seal the break. Dust (or spray with Wasp & Hornet Killer), wait for the chemical of your choice to work, then remove the nest and (hopefully) dead Yellow Jackets. Wait for a week? Why? That's nonsense! Get the job done the same day!

Ronald Shank yeah...problem is that Alpine dust is just really slow. Drione would have been a better choice. It’s much, much faster acting and even gives good knockdown. Alpine just takes too long. But he might not have been able to use Drione as there was a period of time a few years back where you couldn’t get it.

I'm curious as to why you wouldn't have just vacuumed the buzzers and removed the nest the 1st day. I know there was no activity inside but most others vids I have seen take the nest out straight away.

Yeah, definitely! I agree 💯 with you! Waiting a week (or whatever) to come back and finish the job... that's like wiping yer butt 'fore ya poop! That don't make no sense at all!!! (You'd be right if you thought I was watchin' too much Larry the Cable Guy)!!! 🙃☺️😆😁😂! Git-R-Done!!!!!

Vacuuming takes too long. This is his job and not his hobby. He just needed a better dust like Drione. Alpine dust is way to slow.
