That's done on purpose, it's one of Guthrie signature using weird stuff.. That's an Hungarian gypsy scale if I remember correctly or some kind of arabian scale

@@GuitarLife123interesting how some peoples ear perceived that as an accident or wrong. It seems completely on purpose and to me (and hans at the end when talking mentions it in a very positive way) the most interesting and eccentric note choice possible, he threw a little Hungarian minor or something similar in there. Hans and the other guy seem blown away he used it 😂

See if that Hans Zimmer picked up a seat and sat right down in front of me, on stage in my band, as I was taking the guitar solo to Tie a Yellow Ribbon at my local old folks home, I'd tell him right where to stick that seat!
