I adore your dialogue. It mostly reminds me of Fruits Basket (2001). I'm not sure what your inspirations for Shelldairra are but its giving me early 2000s anime vibes.

It's Chapter 7, because the story of Shelldairra is told by the Elementals. There are 9 Elementals, so 9 there would be 9 chapters. Luna's story would be Chapter 7 due to 6 other stories needing to be told before hers so that the audience has a better understanding of where Luna is coming from.
