Depends on the application. I do a lot of trail riding/rock crawling too so can’t really do that with 6” portals too top heavy. But 4” with 35s is great. If all you do is mud ride, get the 6s

I put the same Uni on mine a while back and it's been good so far. I understand the argument of it filtering 'backwards' (inside out) but it has worked well so far. In fact, we took it it to S. Dakota and rode for a week. It performed great.

Only problem with this is that the Uni is a two stage filter and is designed to filter from outside-in. Would be better off putting it at the end of the intake (outside the machine). Nevertheless, better than no pre filter at all.

I was kinda curious when I first installed it but it is working wonders even filtering inside-out. Not a good representation on camera but it trapped 90% of the dirt/dust when I checked

Could you flip it inside out? Because putting it on the outside the way that we drive is going to make for a very, very dirty pre-filter. One that has to be changed almost with every ride.

I feel like if you put the filter up top you wouldn't need to take the box apart as often. Your way looks cleaner and less blocking your view potentially.

I paid cash for a 2023 soft tail stardard. worked a good deal. part of the deal was that the bike had to have drag bars. that was in March 2023...It took 4 tries to get the right clutch cable length. problem is all cables come from a 3rd party company... Magnum Shield out of New York. they supply Drag Specialty, JPCYCLES, with all the SHORTAGESthey supply HARLEY & INDIAN. As I was waiting for this I found out Harley is using a plastic intake manifold and S&S and Screaming eagle are back ordered, I was lucky the dealer was able to get one but they sent the wrong length clutch cable again. This was written in August. The cable and manifold is done, but I have an minor oil leak on the left side front cylinder, the small plastic manifold for the oil cooler lines has been done twice and they replaced the oil-cooler it was cracked on a 3rd try to stop this leak. 28 November SHE IS GOING BACK IN for a 4TH TRY FOR THIS LEAK. I KEEP THINKING IT IS COMING from the bottom rocker-box cover gasket, this started with only 230 miles and I only have 500 miles now. I am having the Screaming Eagle Stage 3...107 T0 119 put on and hoping this finds the leak While this job is being done. I will mention what you are showing about the cable and will see if that may be a similar cause. anyhow, thanks for this video and look into Magnum Shield out of New York. About your cable.

The front brake lines, did you have any trouble getting them to seat all the way at the abs module? Mine screw down till tight but the 90s are still a tad loose.

If you’re referring to the portals, no I did not have any trouble. Double check everything which I’m sure you already have. I would get with super atv about it because you could get debris in the fitting and cause a leak
