It was sweet Bjorn tried to referring to the Bee Gees when he talked to Andy later on this video. Just like a destiny, it was the Gibb brothers who later inducted ABBA into Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame in 2010

This song in all its nature is pure and divine. This particular video with all the beautiful clips in it captures the feeling and atmosphere of that time in the most warm-hearted way that I personally associate and consider it as my choice of official music video for this wonderful song. I first stumbled over it nearly 17yrs ago, it has inspired me to buy the vinyl records, beach movies and soundtracks of that era ever since. Eternally grateful.

My favorite Beach Boys song. This video is so wonderful. The harmonies are just so sweet. I love the simple guitar break.. It is such a truly romantic song. I can not stop listening to this. I wish there was a way to enter tis video and live there on an endless summer day into night. Sweet thoughts to Brian Wilson.

Well it's been building up inside of me For oh I don't know how long I don't know why But I keep thinking Something's bound to go wrong But she looks in my eyes And makes me realize And she says "don't worry, baby" Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby Everything will turn out alright Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby I guess I should've kept my mouth shut When I started to brag about my car But I can't back down now because I pushed the other guys too far She makes me come alive And makes me wanna drive When she says "don't worry, baby" Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby Everything will turn out alright Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby She told me "Baby, when you race today Just take along my love with you And if you knew how much I loved you Baby, nothing could go wrong with you" Oh what she does to me When she makes love to me And she says "don't worry, baby" Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby Everything will turn out alright Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby

I wonder if we’ll ever see the whole show posted somewhere. I would have only been around 4 when this aired, but there’s something about the texture of the 70’s that’s intensely nostalgic. The colors, the sounds, ABBA, etc..
@rustshoo5068 Жыл бұрын
Yes, the imagery, the muted, slightly washed-out shades of colours, the clothes and hair styles all may be reminiscent of old postcards kept from that time. It’s like diving into an old postcard or slightly faded photo from that time and reliving the quaintness and the reticence that most people had been brought up to live by. The way these Anglo-Australians and Swedes are conversing and relating to each other is all rather unrock-like for the time, but they had merely revealed something of their upbringing. The 1970s was still a very conservative decade by today’s standards, away from the obvious glitz of the time. But that is also in part why so much good music was created. Pop music had still been popular music.
