I had same problem. And I couldn't tell by sound alone which way the motor was spinning. I had to go up there and physically move the sprocket to see the direction.

@andrewdees3951 if your garage door opener starts reversing you will see the lights blinking 10 times means that is in a opened position due to its reversal obstruction of tripping the sensor. and if it’s not flashing that means the opener limits is going to a open position but not going down if the sensor was tripped already when the door goes down. it will go back up and you will hear the garage door opener Stop and go back up and the lights on the motor will blink 10 times on the door opener.

i changed my gen1 volts hallogens out for a pair of color changing LED's from china which were 4 bucks. their heat sink and fan on the back stuck out a bit and i never put the headlight caps back on, I just didnt see the point. so far they have served me well over the last 35k miles, and theyre great because i now basically have fog lights, and they take 35 watts less power per bulb, which theoretically means better range. (70 watts ~ 1 extra mile over 3 hrs of driving). I wrapped the led power supply in aluminum foil duct tape and made ~50 little cooling fins out of folds since they got a bit hot with my testing, and was able to keep the power supply outside of the enclosure by omitting the round plug cap things. all my little mods add up and im getting ~48 miles of range on my 2013 volt now.

The vacation lock is supposed to be turned OFF if not being used with the Lock Feature on the wall button the keypad and Car HomeLink remote controls it should work properly with the opener not having the lock control ON with the wall button and with no lights flashing from the openers light bulb Blinking 2 times indicating that your wall control has a lock setting that is Enabled to the openers wall button.

What model is the battery?

To locate for the model number of your garage door opener it's usually located on the left side of the operator and some label may be located under the left side of the opener or could be in the front of the opener from where the lens cover is located, and the model of the Battery Backup Replacement is a G4228 12v Chamberlian battery.

Thanks, Amir. Our problem has been water on the kitchen floor at the end. After clearing the filter, but with no soap (my mistake) there was no leak. There was still leakage on the kitchen floor when soap was used without the filter in place. With the filter back in place the water did not all go out, removing the filter again to check. No leak on the quick drain cycle, but there was still water in the bottom of the filter well. Time to check a leak video. Thanks for this much!

Hey, when i pressed mine last night it worked perfectly when opening and closing. I havent touched it at all after that until this morning. When i went to press it to open this morning, it would not open at all. And it is a liftmaster just like yours. Any possible suggestions?

@MrHumbleHimself20 it could be one of the problem with your garage door torsion Spring on the top of the garage door that could be broken and that can also cause the garage door openers to not open over a Heavy Load if your springs is still intact and not Broken it could be that your garage door opener has force settings on the back of the Motor that has Blue Screws for the open and close Settings and that’s what needs to be adjusted for them to work properly and that Should Fixed one of the Problems with your garage door opener.

Never showed how to remove rail from coupler in the rear, I tapped on mine, still hasn’t broken free from motor, am I not doing something else to release the rail from motor?

@floridaguy2012 the old opener I have in my garage just broke from a Heavy door, so it got Fixed from a Door Technician and I just recently Replaced it 2 years ago with a New Chamberlian.

@Rafa I do have a video on how to wire an electric garbage disposal on an Appliance plug and it works the same way as a Household Appliance but the procedures with them are very different between the garbage disposal wiring and with them being identically the same process but with them having wire nuts on the two connected wires including the ground. with their Electric dryers where you need to have a screwdriver to take one of the covers OFF on the Electric dryer to get access to one of the Electrical wiring terminals from the back panel of the dryer.

They need to start selling the dishwashers with the filter handles more clearly marked in BRIGHT NEON COLORS with THE DIRECTIONS MOLDED IN RAISED LETTERS so they DON'T WASH OFF right there next to the HANDLE IN A BRIGHT NEON COLOR so that the people HAVE NO PROBLEMS and THEIR HEALTH ISN'T PUT AT RISK due to a DIRTY DISHWASHER FILTER !!! THANKS !!!

Great video I just did this yesterday. I wish I saw this video before then it would of saved me some headaches. Going to pull it out again because I am sure the vent ducting is dirty then yours was. You really covered every aspect so I will sub to your channel. Nice job!!
