By works does this go together and not need to be handled with care? I wasted filament on 3 of these things and each one either needs to be tweaked with parts, needs to be handled like a baby to work right or is as useful as holding 2 sticks on spools and slapping them with your hands. I want to download one that finally works

Nope it’s very sturdy and works great. !

The lidar looks for DEfECTS. Remove the calibration lines and by definition, defects are also removed. Same goes with first layer scanning - I know this because it has absolutely, positively, 100% detected 1st layer defects when they exist, even when I didn't see them. Whoever came up with this doesn't understand that contranegative does not equal positive.
@super3dtok17 күн бұрын
Now that makes sense. But you’d think that the absence of filament WOULD be a defect.
@CarbonKevin17 күн бұрын
@super3dtok I suspect that because there are many combinations of build plate, layer height, filament color, lighting, and filament type that simply can't be detected easily by the lidar, the system can't treat "I saw nothing" as a failure.

Someone help me out I haven't used a scraper to remove prints but I don't have residue or bits stuck to bed. is it just because it's newer, I don't use brims and haven't needed supports yet, it does have a removable bed plate that flexes if I need that but I just push to one side and it comes off. Bed temp sits at 60°C.

My issue is diffent. It scans the first layer and I saw it scan first layer, but the layer had a hole and large blond that Extended far beyond the surface. No error from the printer. I could hear the printer hit the blobs, so stopped the print. I am sure that my eyes do not have micrometer resolution, that is better than the LIDAR 😂 Will ask Bambu about it.

It had to have when I first sent this file. However since I printed it from the printer the printer wouldn’t show errors. Weird that I don’t remember doing this initially but totally my fault.

I’ve heard that but haven’t done testing. The minimal amount of filament that’s needed doesn’t affect me and assures me that on these top surfaces that nozzle is ready to go when it starts to print.

Oh no, I think I will sink in the trash because of that one little sign... I'm so sad that I'm going to die because of that biodegradable sign... Oh I'm so sad... But the thing that makes me happy is that you have your non-biodegradable shoes that waste lots of material, and you go to work every day using the road in front of your house that is so not eco friendly that 1m2 is the same as producing one electric car. So happy for you and your eco awareness.

I know one comment talks about the shrink/warping that comes with annealing, but stefan of cnc kitchen has mentioned how carbon fiber nylon will anneal basically warplessly in one of his videos. And in general the process increases tensile strength and heat resistance i believe.
