You should lightly sand between costs of laquer, using a 220 grit. Turned out nice regardless !

I really like this chest of drawers- the mint green really looks good with the black i would have never thought of the two colors together.

Could be that the temps messed with the finish? Or maybe needed another layer with sanding in between? Regardless, it looks great! Wonderful transformation!
