The media still referring to these guys as a Pop "Boyband" is utterly embarrassing and shows just how out of touch they truly are, McFly are nowadays A) no longer boys but borderline middle-aged men and B) sound like a well oiled Rock N Roll machine This song is like prime Bon Jovi/Def Leppard meets Bruce Springsteen.

Looks great but why aren't these guys playing the big arena's like The O2 and Manchester like Busted have been? If ever a McFly album deserved the major venues status then it is Power To Play with its Arena-Rock masterpieces

Because their instruments won't fill big arenas and the sound won't carry the same. They said they much prefer smaller settings and allow their live music to bounce off the contained walls

@@PortsTM No way sorry but Power To Play songs would sound epic in a venue like The O2 or Wembley Arena, even their stuff off Radio Active like Friday Night and Corrupted sounded really heavy in the bigger shows and P2P blows all their previous albums out of water, something like Forever's Not Enough was designed for Arena-Rock status like; Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Bruce Springsteen etc...

One of the best rock tunes in donkey's years. Never thought I'd ever hear myself say this but thank you McFly for potentially saving Rock N Roll which has been dead in the water for a decade or more now. This sounds like it has dropped out of the 70's/80's golden era of Hard-Rock; Rush, AC/DC and even a hint of The Who.

They were heavily inspired by the bands you mentioned, and you can also include Metallica on this list. I've been a fan for almost 17 years and this album is already my favorite. Btw, I was there that day :D

@ Not quite sure I hear Metallica influence even if they are, I've seen Dougie wearing the odd Metallica shirt though. There's alot of; Van Halan, KISS and Bon Jovi vibes on Power To Play and also the occasional Bruce Springsteen whom I know Danny idolises. All they need is big hair and spandex and they'll be the real deal 😂😂

Biblical P2P is a modern day Rock masterpiece. Never ever thought I'd hear myself say that about McFly but it is truly brilliant and stands out a mile above the majority of the rest of current popular music which barely deserves the title of being called "music". I thank these guys from the bottom of my heart for bringing back Guitars into the mainstream
