I didn't think that people liked my reaction videos to the Duel Links updates, but if people do like them, then I'll make more of it in the upcoming months talking about what's coming, what's worth farming for, and how decks will continue to evolve and change based on the event drops we're scheduled to get. @@misanuku9136 I should have went over it in my video, but in order to unlock the new "Altergeist Overwrite" skill, you must win x3 duels using only Spellcaster type monsters while playing as Ghost Gal. The requirement for the skill isn't hard, but it can be a bit time consuming since three games can take a good bit. As for what deck to build for the skill, it literally doesn't matter. I just did 3 games with Ghost Gal's Altergeist deck, got the skill, and was good to go. However, if you do use Altergeists for unlocking the skill, just make sure you don't summon anything that isn't a Spellcaster type for the next 3 games that you do. If you want the other new skills, you can find more information on them in your Lifetime missions tab in the game.

I'm not sure where you came from dropping in randomly like this, but you are honestly my major inspiration for streaming and YouTubing and I can't thank you and Steven Freshy enough for everything that you two do. I don't think I myself would be half a good a player as I am today if it wasn't from watching and actively learning something from both of your streams because trust me, there's a huge difference between watching an average player play the game and watching a top tier player (like you and Steven Freshy) play the game because you two actively think about your decisions and don't make bad moves. You're always thinking at least five steps ahead and as someone who was basically raised playing Chess ever since I was five years old, I like that style of thinking where you are always trying to out-think your opponent. In terms of the new box, you already know what I'm excited for, the Altergeist stuff, and believe me, I plan to go through the box three times. You don't have to go through the box thrice specifically for the Altergeist stuff because like I said on the video, getting one Memorygant and one Pookuery is definitely okay. I play one of them anyway in Master Duel and I'm clapping on there and topping ranked ladder. Memorygant is your "Accesscode Talker" and your finisher and Pookuery is your combo enabler but you have to be careful how you use it, as her effect to recycle from Grave to Hand is once per duel so you have to be smart there. Don't worry though, I'll teach you the proper combo lines and how to use the deck easily so you won't be lost on how to use Pookuery because I know that its effect is kind of confusing to understand if you have never played with the card before. I'll showcase Memorygant as well but Memorygant is a lot easier to showcase since it's just an OTK machine whereas Pookuery is more confusing but I'll break everything down for ya, so don't worry. As for the other box contents aside from the obvious Altergeist stuff, they're just whatever to me. I mean since I'm running the box thrice, I'll end up with the other stuff anyway on the way out so I'm curious to try it, which is why I wanted your help on the Prank-Kids stuff since I've literally never played that deck before or know what the cards do, exactly like Shiranui, where my experience on the deck is extremely limited and thus, hinders my ability to play optimally. On Shiranui, I'm definitely no Steven Freshy and he's a top 100 player on that deck (and I'm really proud of him too, he deserved it). Phantom Knights and Raidraptors look interesting so I may give them a try but I don't see myself playing them in the long run. Maybe a few games but that's it, then it's back to the Altergeists.Performage looks like a fun meme deck (but not a competitive one) and as for Fabled, well, I don't think Fabled is going to be any good sadly but I'll still try it because I do like decks that play similarly to Dark World where they discard for various effects. I do have Dark World built as well and Fabled is similar to that, but better in a lot of aspects so I may enjoy Fabled more than I'm giving it credit for right now, we just have to wait and see when the Scream of Resistance minibox drops. In the end, I can't thank you enough for that kind comment you took time out of your day to say and it's people like you and Steven Freshy that the community needs more of. Best of luck in your box opening Sean and be on the lookout for the Altergeist stream from me where I start showcasing how to use the brand new Memorygant (my favorite card in the whole deck) and the Pookuery (the combo enabler) optimally . Also as a side note, remember, for anyone reading this comment, please stop running Ice Dragon's Prison in your Altergeist decklists. That card is garbage since it turns off your Multifaker and robs you of any advantage you might have gained. I kid you not, I've faced over 20 Altergeist decks on King of Games ladder and all of them were on Ice Dragon's Prison because they don't watch my streams to learn how to play the deck at a very high level.

Ah, yeah thanks for pointing that out. I'm not really a Red Eyes player but I just checked and you're right. Red-Eyes Slash Dragon can be obtained from three different places, those being the Resonance of Contrast Minibox, Selection Box Mini Volume 1, and the Return of the Red Eyes structure deck. Given you can get Red-Eyes Slash Dragon from a structure deck, I don't think it's worth it to waste box chips on, but I just wanted to point out that it is a consideration for people to pick it up if they need it to finish off their Red Eyes decks. I still think it'd be a waste though. Cosmic Cyclone and Forbidden Chalice are arguably the best pick-up cards you get get with your Box Chips. Thanks for supporting the stream btw. I'm kind of a new content creator and growing slowly so I do appreciate all the support I get. It really means a lot and goes a long way, more than you know.

@@crimsonreaper5293 I don't understand people's view on box chips, if a card is available in a mini box or SD you still have to spend a lot of gems to get it, you are getting a free slash dragon without spending gems which is kind of a limited currency(once you max out all characters).Box chips guarntee a free card without investing gems, only people it does not help are P2W and its because it is to support F2p players not them anyways.

@@mudit_mathur its better use the box chips for a cards that come from main boxes, not mini boxes. Because all of them (main and mini box 1-10) are now on 50% gem discount sales. A single card from main boxes need more gems than a card from mini boxes.

Lol I can't wait for Orcusts to be the next Tier One deck on the ladder (rolls eyes). Unless Orcusts turn out to be game breaking or something, I don't really plan to invest on making the deck because it's not really a deck I'm interested in. I feel like now that Mekk-Knights are dead, Orcusts will definitely rise to be the next tier one. As far as the rest of the box goes, I feel like it's just a scam. Not gonna lie, Utopia the Lightning as well as Dingirsu are really good pick-up cards, but I am not sure on how the rest of the box will do in the meta. Magistus and Security Force don't seem to be that great and for a mainbox, I'm kind of disappointed that there's nothing in it that I want. Even Compulsory Evacuation Device is a scam to me because I already have four of them. If I go into this box, it will be solely for Dingirsu because it's good in my D/D/D deck and any other deck that's able to reliably pump out rank 8 monsters. All-in-all, I'm just gonna save my gems for when Yugo and his Speedroids come out because I'm assuming he will be minibox and miniboxes are generally a lot easier to finish than mainboxes. I still don't see any sign of Ghost Girl appearing but don't worry, I'm waiting. I've got my 3 Prismatic Marionetters at the ready for when she releases. This box ix overall a skip, just gonna wait for Yugo and anything else we might get over the next couple months. Also Orcusts will just get hit on a banlist if they overperform next KC Cup, so all the more reason why this box isn't worth me investing in.

Guess you don't know how problematic it is when Hero players set Super Polymerization along with other backrow you have to play through. As I said in the video, Hero Alliance is a problematic skill because it allows you a free search of a limit one card, Super Polymerization, which Konami deemed too powerful and thus put it on a limit one banlist. You can't even search Super Polymerization in the TCG so I don't get why it's allowed in Duel Links. Either set Stratos or Miracle Fusion to three to get the limit 3 backrow out of the deck or nerf Hero Alliance by adding its discard cost back, therefore forcing a minus 2 in the hand if you wan to Super Polymerization someone.
