First Pretenders song I heard. Hooked! James, Martin and Pete complimented Chrissy's songwriting perfextly!

This is the one in which the Tin Man collides with the Michelin Man, and a unique, captivating cacophony ensues!..

Fuckin crowd was DEAD. Shame, shame on them. One of the greatest bands to come out of that era. PERFECT debut album!

I worked at The Santa Monica Civic when they played. Imagine being a kid in high school getting to experience this. Changed my life.

She took on a nice patina of a British accent, which is totally natural. Impossible to live in England for even a short time, without that quirky accent rubbing off on you!

What's with the background vocals? Honeyman-Scott was going to have guitarist Billy Bremner join the line up.

My era of greatness 85-89 so much competition in the World music stakes could harp on and explain really.Wicked video here by fave great quality session musicians here backing up the main star and stay in of hers truly in Hynde.Robbie the guitarist and Blair the drummer so much swag would go on after leaving Pretenders to help one half of the greatest songwriters ever in Paul McCartney check Hope Of Deliverance late 80s and early 90s.To be blessed and part of the greatest decade of all time never to forget miss it so much oh hail the 80s atmosphere guarteed

saw them in 83 I think in Raleigh on the "learning to crawl" tour... Martin Chambers was a bad ass... I can only imagine them with Honeymoon!!!! Robbie McIntosh did well but there was no way anyone could match Honey's feel for that band... He owned those riffs and there were never anymore awesome guitar riffs but the good songs did keep coming and they stayed relavant for so long....
