Just finished this quilt today. I did manage to find all the relevant tutorial videos but some of the non essential videos are no longer available. The pdf instructions are very comprehensive though. You can use the freezer paper on a roll - don't need to buy the expensive printable sheets. I printed in draft on copy paper and traced onto the freezer paper as required. (You can use each pattern several times so don't need as many as the pattern suggests.) But you do need something transparent and ironable to lay over the centre circle pattern. I found a pack of Teflon paper for protecting heat transfers on Amazon fairly inexpensive. You need a lot of glue but I dont think this would work with pins - the glue works great. I used plain and monochromatic fabric scraps I already had and bought a cream/white patterned jelly roll for the background strips. I was very frugal with the strips and cut them in half for the inner star pieces. I also only built up the corner pieces to the rough shape of the piece and then trimmed. I didnt make 4 squares and then cut half of it off! It went together well and I'm very pleased with it.

Hello! I’m a beginner. What kind of paper are you using when copy the pattern? And are those special scissors? Thanks

How does the glue not seep through the fabric and leave stiff fabric or bleed the dyes?

You said Elmer's glue does not negatively affect fabric - I don't think so, as Elmer's School glue is NOT archival in nature. If you have not washed your quilt when finished, in time your quilt could "yellow" or look aged ahead of its time.

Also where do I get the Elmers glue with fine tip. Thanks in advance. I plan to make this wonderful quilt ASAP. Blessings, Joann

Just discovered your videos! Love this re hand stitching. I’m left handed, tried turning my IPad upside down to see how it would look left handed. But I have to change my settings if I can because my IPad keeps rotating! 😝😝😝😝

What am I doing wrong. Once I put the zipper on, the left flap is short. 50 inches wide quilt. 18 inch zip x 2= 36, That only leaves 14 inches left for flap on the left? Should the quilt be 60 inches wide.

why do you spritz in multiple layers of starch? Is that just the way you were taught or is there a specific reason to do it that way? I'm just wondering because I was watching videos from Fat Quarter Shop and they do dip fabric, and I've seen others dip fabric too, so maybe it's an issue of personal preference? thank you for the video
