hey man you have some old videos catfishing in the Merrimack with success and catching some good sized cats, may I ask where you were for those? I'm in the Newburyport area trying to catfish on the Merrimack and just looking for advise on some spots

Lawrence. Early spring with chunks of cut bait or couple nightcrawlers on a hook will get em. Fall is good to. Once it gets hot the Bullheads are a pain.

Try to set the hook more or harder because I have landed 8 to 10 pound trout on a size 10 hook.

@northshoreoutdoors yes it is ! If you don't mine me asking what are a few of your favorite lakes to fish at? I live 2 minutes from raccoon state park in like going there and to Conneaut I haven't fished the Lake Erie in a lot of years but we have this place right behind my house called Aunt Clara's fort great trout fishing they stock it real nice for the children which is awesome raccoon state park has a 12 and under spot for children and they put some nice trout in there every year for the kids

Why it's important not to fish too close together. If you get a fish on your line you'd get snagged on your buddies line an lose your catch.

Do you catch then this big at the Plum beach and/or the refuge too? Also are you usually fishing rising tide? Just need some info I need to catch a beast😂

This was all on Plum Island Reservation. You can fish all tides at the beach, I prefer beach six when the tides near low and beach 3 when it's near high. If you go a few days a week you are bound to catch a nice fish. They aren't always around, but eventually putting the time in will pay off.

I’m not giving yall a hard time at all happy yall enjoyed what you got. But year in a half old bucks why not just shoot a doe? Do yall ever shoot older bucks or to much hunting pressure and they never make it to that age? Congrats either way happy for a successful hunt.
