Hey Keith, I got there around noon and the parking lot was pretty packed. I'd think getting there any time before 9 would be a safe bet for parking on a busy weekend. It's a great trail, hope you have an awesome time!

Hi Mr. Wolf OMGoodness, opening is very inviting hiking trail and what? Rocks everywhere...I cannot say scree or scrambling....but rock mine...wowow You hike without walking sticks. Hope your shoes never caught by between rocks...I have fallen by exposed roots catching my shoes before..hahah It looks challenging, but not strenuous??? May I ask what makes this hiking trail filled with middle size rocks?? OMGoodness Well done...marker on the rock? haha what animal was it? 7:14 over 600 elevation gain..hmmm. well done...I wonder if I need a pair of boots rather than hiking shoes...I have no idea how hikers chose between. Superb!!! I enjoy your reward the view from the summit. hahah you have energy left for the concert. Have a blast. Mr. Wolf. Hope to catch next upload.. BIG LIKE If you are interested, Kayak7seas offer various adventures including hiking. Shark Dive is the latest. Appreciate it I was researching the hiking tails along Blueridge Park HWY and your channel popped out for Mt. Mitchel hiking. Now I just found your upload and start watching..haha

This on took us about 2 1/2 hours taking our time on the way up and jogging the way down. It came up a bit shorter in distance than it showed in all trails. Just let me know if you have ay other questions now that I'm back from vacation. Happy trails!

Awesome coverage and accomplishment - congrats! I was wondering, why did you choose to go up the Bright Angel Trail on the way back as opposed to the way you came down (South Kaibab)? Variety? Water access?
@wolfliferunning4 ай бұрын
Great question, and you nailed it! Water. There are no pump houses on South Kaibab, so you have to carry all your water for the climb. We did our run in late May since we had friends doing the R2R and had to wait for the north rim to open. And it was really hot. I know people going for "fast times" to South Kaibab up, but also tend to do it in cooler weather. Have a great trip, such an amazing place!

Yeah, it's at the very end of Road 612. Here is the alltrails link we used to get there, using the directions features: www.alltrails.com/trail/iceland/westfjords/latrabjarg There isn't much out on this side of the island, so make sure you have plenty of gas/full charge. Have a great trip!
