Excellent, detailed explanation of the various symptoms of malfunctioning A/C systems. This has convinced me to replace the expansion valve on my '11 Aveo POS that has a high reading on the low side and a low reqaaing on the high side and varying temps of cool through the registers . Thank you.

Is the thermistor has two wires you might be able to bypass them. They are trickier then regular pressure switches

I highly recommend if you are spec'ing out a truck you buy it with WABCO/Meritor brakes. Bendix totally sucks. You can't even check the outer pad thickness with this tool. Changing Bendix pads sucks also with their fragile chain system instead of gears, like Wabco. Wabco also has an external indicator so you don't need a tool.

You show the heat transfer going from the engine side of the condenser and out the front of the condenser against the wind.. I thought the air flow came through the condenser coil with the assistance of the fan pulling it through. The air flow should be pulling in from the front of the truck which helps with the transfer of heat when the truck is traveling forward. Am I wrong, or was this just more detail???

Nice product explanation, exactly wat I was looking for before purchase, I only wish the flash patterns were shown for a little longer for each and in a simulated orientation.

Explaining it clear and concise . When a blue butt connector is used , is it that critical of a voltage drop ? Please explain thermistors , are they able to be easily bypassed ?

As a/c refrigerant passes through an expansion tube or valve it changes liquid to gas as the instructor states . Very well done instructor explanation !

Just a quick question, how is it that when the refrigerant goes through the expansion valve does it drop in temperature. What causes it to drop in temperature?

Yeah your right high temperature liquid drop to low temperature vapor when it pass to evaporator coil and back to compressor.

Bendix should manufacture slack adjuster clevis pins with hex formed pin heads . This would be to make sure that the pin is free and easy to turn and lubricate . Place a microphone in the audience . 119/23

@williams65502 жыл бұрын
Do you have shop air and a blow gun with rubber tip? It doesn't take but a few psi to extend the pushrod. In fact, if you put the new chamber in a vise you can pull it out with your bare hands and clamp it off. It must only be about a 30 pound spring in there.
