I didn’t like the interviewer in the beginning, he grew on me as things progressed. I still don’t know who he is - I’ll look him up. This was a great way to spend an hour and twenty minutes. Thank you for posting!

I will never forget Kevin on the 500gp Suzuki and sliding off in the wet at 130mph during a race whilst running at the front. He bounced around with the bike to a stop. He never let go of the clutch even though it broke 2 fingers. He then got back on the bike and rejoined the race from the back. He punched his way through the field and finished on the podium with 2 broken fingers. Total hardcore. I was a spotty teenager watching in awe

One of my favourite riders. If you watch these interviews with ex motogp 500 riders one thing you notice is how beat up their hands are. All those crashes take their toll on fingers and wrists. Didn’t realize Kevin held those hard feelings towards Lawson. Interesting. Thanks for posting this interview. Schwantz fan from Nova Scotia, Canada.

It's funny where Kevin talks of getting the bike 'all tied up" under braking while going into the chicane, that's standard practice now for almost every turn. Marques is absolutely amazing to watch, his bike is often so tied up you doubt he'll get it in line for the turn.
