@katiecheerlove They are not tearing this coaster down. They are re-tracking the coaster with some incredible metal tracking. It is going to be sort of similar to El Toro in NJ which is a wood and hybrid coaster together. The Giant will be a lot smoother, faster and steeper come first drop. It will be the steepest first drop on any wooden coaster on the planet. The descent angle is going to be 79 degrees compared to 77 degrees on T Express and 76 degrees on El Toro. Check it out! i liked this ride at 1st but it jerks you around and it was just makeing me go back and forth and i was about 2 cry becaus i hit my head.i know its embarising but i was 8

This was voted #1 wooden coaster of all time in 1999, now it's 08 and it's a death machine! My friend and I went the other day and he wanted to ride texas giant cause after that he officialy rode every ride there, and we head butted 3 times, I received a bruised hip and he got around a 30min head ache. I hope they can remodel it to steel.

I rode on it the summer after it was built. At the time it was the tallest wooden roller coaster in the world. Rough ride, but it was fun!

I know, the part about 55 seconds in is the extra helix. On Goliath, instead of that first helix, it just goes up and around once to the brakes.

This ride is just like Goliath at Six Flags Magic Mountain except Goliath doesn't have the part in this coaster about 55 seconds into the video. Other than that, Goliath is EXACTLY the same. Same track, same colors too.

When we were in Hawaii, we went back two seperate nights to see the lava flow on the Big Island. To me, it was one of those "Once In A Lifetime" events that you couldn't get enough of. I only wish we had more time because it was truly amazing.
