I really love her choice of poetry on her liturgical choices. So much depth in her choice of liturgy that I feel Anna Rossi should have double the time she’s given to further elaborate her message. Just a little bit more of her, please???!!!🙏🙏

According to the bible, GOD, tradition, history and Jesus, women clergy are not preferred, legitimate, allowed, consecrated or even to be in ANY form or function. To do so is directly and totally against GOD - PERIOD! It is an abomination, pagan and abhorrently demonic; a mockery to everything commanded by GOD and Jesus.

I’m so grateful that you share such a beautiful service with the world. I just ordered a hymnal from Amazon to more fully participate in your services. I wish I could be there in person-I would not miss a service. So, I’ll do second best and enjoy your wonderful services via streaming. God bless you all.

Dan - and crew! Thank you for all you do to bring the Cathedral to those of us spread far and wide in such a magnificent production. As a devote Anglican musician, Grace has always been a representative of stellar liturgy and music. I view everything from the Cathedral online - it fills my soul. The ability to understand and incorporate the impeccable acoustic of the cathedral are important to me and you do it remarkably. I liked hearing of your future hopes - but how do you get a POV from the chancel that isn't intrusive in person? Like the buried camera at home plate!

Very well done on the Willan. However the organ has undergone perceptible change since I heard it played by Richard Purvis some 40 or so years ago. I liked it better then.

sounds as if u chose the most dissonant and ugliest pieces possible. too bad, there was a decent congregation present, and nice hymns and service music was available n the episcopal hymnbook. what a shame.

@@shannonaxe Also, most works sung were from the hymnal plus a TAize chant was used. There was a fine balance of choices for this service.

Thank you for providing the recording of Bishop Austin's consecration. Congratulations and blessings to him! Kudos to all who planned this beautiful, festive, spiritual, multi-cultural, multilingual, musical ceremony, especially beginning with the land acknowledgement and ending with the lion dance - a wonderful recognition of the Chinese in San Francisco and throughout California. Well done! 👏🎊🎉✝

I agree! This service was HOLY and so WELL DONE❤ Jesus Christ is bigger and more diverse than we can even imagine, and we tapped into that diversity at this service 🎉 Episcopal revival is here🎉🎉🎉🎉

Uh, online technical people. Get it correct: sound versus video is WAY off. Organist is putting away prelude music while the sound 'of the prelude' is still happening. I know of several other intervals in the service that there were similar 'mishaps' - - this is also not the first week this has occurred for online. This is primal for me - a parish musician of over 50 years. Get - it -- right. This is Grace Cathedral.

All lovely minus the annoying woman ‘priests.’ I’m a cradle Episcopalian, and am so tired these arrogant women parade around and are essentially saying “we’re here, if you don’t like it, too bad.” As the Episcopal church continues on with its obsession with being hip and modern, our numbers continue to shrink. But who cares, right? They are many reasons for this, but forcing many of the faithful to accept the innovation of woman as priests has played a very significant part in that decline, starting in the early 1970’s.

You can't reason somebody out of something they weren't reasoned into in the first place - isn't that the truth. I've always been perplexed by the recalcitrant resistance of the MAGA crowd to any logic other than their own narrow view. They are emotionally invested- explains a lot. Would sure like to understand better how to transcend those kinds of emotions in them. On PTSD - as the amygdala initially was increased by trauma, can it recover when the trauma is past? Can they regain their normal size and function with neuroplasticity over time? I don't know what "life hacks" are, either. Thank you much for sharing.

To answer Dean Malcom’s question, should a nominee for President become incapacitated before the election the names would remain on the ballot (in say, October) and the VP would become President on Inauguration Day (as they would have also been nominated by the conventions). Prior to that, should a candidate become incapacitated, I believe each party has a mechanism for the “national committee” to nominate a successor
